Our story
The story of Woodnest Works Kft. began in early 2025, when Péter Lajos founded Peter Design Kft. The owners’ careers started much earlier, though: both have been devoted to woodworking since childhood. They learned the trade from the ground up, worked for years in every hands-on stage of furniture making and installation, and later ran joinery businesses for a long time. They brought decades of professional and management experience together to build their own company.
The company has grown quickly from the start. With a new workshop, new machinery, a growing team and increasingly complex orders, it has become a full-service custom furniture and interior fit-out company.
At the end of 2025 Peter Design Kft. continued under the name Woodnest Works Kft. The new name marked a new stage: traditional joinery skills combined with a modern design approach, technical development and international project management.

Our team
The company is run by its two owners, Péter Lajos and Höchst Ferenc. They are supported by Vaszil Monika, responsible for Western European client relations, and by designers, project managers and master joiners.
Our team members learned furniture making from the ground up, working their way through every step of the trade. We have decades of experience in custom furniture, kitchens and built-in wardrobes, as well as shopfitting, premium displays, exhibition and event elements, and international series production projects.
